So how does one go about getting someone to look after a kid? Will we be able to get what we want?

We want to be able to drop 1 year old Meg off for a few hours during the day, somewhere in our area… So I suppose someone who does child minding in the own home… Does it work like that? Where to start looking? Some kind of agency I suppose.

I think the local council will have a list of minders who have to be registered or ask your Health Visitor how to find one?

childminders are Sh*t. I've got one and he hasn't stopped me getting into scrapes with big Al and his boys, he's rubbish in a fight and unless i pay him in kinder surprise he won't drive the jag and has to sit on cushion to see over the steering wheel.

I'll have to get one of these instead
