Hey, I have a big bunch of friends who are going skiing to Morzine 29th-december for a week. I'd love to join them but am pretty put off by accommodation prices. I thought of camping but the internet seems to say that's a very, very silly idea, even with the right equipment.
So my question is does anyone know of any cheap places to stay (even cheap-for-a-reason places) I know a few great places for Summer but their prices aren't so great in Winter.
Any help appreciated!

Cheap accomodation in Morzine - an oxymoron or not?

We used to use Le Paix Top from Snow and Trek in the summer. Problem was that they didn't really care for the place properly and we ended up cleaning before we moved in. The place was always relatively cheap and nowadays seems to be rarely rented out. It is out of town (but has a very good bus service)so that again adds to the bargain value. We always appreciated the peace and quiet that it offered.

The providers were always very flexible with prices too. I'd suggest giving them a ring sometime.

prgski.com might be worth a look, depending on times they can be pretty cheap.
