    Do I need to shorten chain? All looks ok but just want to make sure. Also do I need new pins for shaman chain if I do shorten? 10 speed chain. Cheers

    You might want to take a link out, and always best to replace pins/rivets when doing so in my eyes.

    Best thing to do is pop it in smallest rings fore and aft, if the chain is tought, leave it, if it sags, shorten it.

    Yes, big/big plus a link (or two). Yes, you should use a shimano pin to rejoin the chain.
