After reading all the home brew lighting threads, particularly the upgrade for Ay Ups. I started pondering the viability of upgrading the LEDs in a cateye triple shot EL700 vs buying a new light.

How easy would it be to do for the technically inept?
What would I need?

Any wisdom gratefully received.

Many thanks for the link. Looks like some easier options to have a go at than the mad bright set up by Trout.

Now need to gather a soldering iron and pluck up the courage to get on with it.
