    Have you attempted to ride down the front side, i carried up this way with a different descent, it looked like it would be pretty sketchy ie, very steep and loose tight switchbacks, maybe foot down and get the back end round, not sure mincing would work, as very loose, so how far down and how many style points did you manage.

    PS. The descent from the middle munro is great down to the col, then follow the narrow walkers path around the flank of Carn Liath.

    Top few corners were hard work – cranks still bear the scratch from a mis-timed endo-corner-but-sliding-front-wheel-its-so-steep…
    So I fall-lined the next few corners, picked up the trail in time for a few rocky bits, and had a set of Juicy’s fade out for the third time that day, ensuring I hit the lower trail with big girly screams ahem, style…
