    Here’s one that I know someone will know… I’ve had this email from someone at Network Rail. Can anyone help us find what event was on at Cannock and who was behind it? Mountain bike orienteering? Local challenge?

    A bit of a strange request but I am hoping you might be able to help.

    The final of a national mountain biking competition was held on Cannock Chase in Staffordshire on Saturday 14 January 2012.

    I am trying to trace the organisers. There isn’t a problem but the ‘course’ crossed one of our rural railway lines so we want contact the organisers so that if something similar happens in future we can look at having rail staff at the crossing to make sure everything runs smoothly.
