    Hi guys,

I’m trying to replace the bearings in my cane creek branded headset but on inspection they are made by tange. The bike is a cannondale caad x cross bike standard headtube size with integrated bearings that are the same top and bottom with 45 degree chamfers.

Has anyone found anywhere in the UK that can supply these or fitted a successful replacement from someone else?

    Cheers for any advice.

There are some very cheap cane creek headsets on the crc price drop sale at the mo (for a few more hours at least) might be easier or even cheaper to just get the whole headset

You need to know internal and external ‘chamfers’, external usually 45 but internal can be 45 or 30-something (38?). My FSA integrated takes 45 x 45, tried some off eBay which didn’t fit, bought some Ritchey from CRC (£10 for 2) which are spot on. FYI both the FSA and Ritchey bearings were marked as ‘campag compatible’.
