i’m currently laid up with excruciating earache, and would like to watch a cycling documentary or two. must be free and on the internet! i really like the idea of travelogue/touring types shows, but i’ll be happy with all suggestions!

    thanks!

If you liked ASIH try Stars and Watercarriers. For a well made film with cycling references try Belleville Rendevous.

the tommy simspon one was amazing. a sunday in hell was pretty smart too. i think that’s my lot for grainy footage of road cycling from the 60s and 70s for now, and i’ve seen flying scotsman and belleville rendevouz before. what else y’all got? 🙂

Mark Beaumont ‘Man who cycled the world’ and the one across the Americas, not sure if they are on-line. Was on iPlayer for a while

EDIT: on you tube in bits:
