    Planning on doing the 7 stanes next week and looking for some cool tent friendly campsites to stay at…can anyone recommend any good ones?

    Stayed at Barnsoul campsitebefore, it's OK, cooking facilities, showers, easy drive of most of the stanes. Bit out of the way though.

    There's a campsite in Dalbeattie which is well placed for the galloway end: http://www.islecroft.co.uk/
