I’ve got a Camelbak Lobo. Twice now it has randomly emptied itself inside the bag. The bladder doesn’t appear to have any leaks. The mouth doesn’t leak and the house was properly attacked. Yet all the water has emptied out near the bottom.

Anyone else had this? Could the house detach and then reattach itself?!

Are you sure you have aligned the lid properly before closing? My Camelbak leaks if I don’t get it right.

I had one that had pin holes all over it, returned under warranty

Lid closed properly and no sign off pin holes. I lost 2.5 litres in about 30 minutes. Weird!

I had one that went temperamental around the filler cap. They’re only £20 for a new one, it’s not throwaway money but considering how annoying a leak is, it just makes sense imo

Camelbak have a lifetime guarantee, worth speaking to them or to the shop.

Maybe try filling it up, holding it over the bath & giving it a good old shake to simulate a ride and see what happens?!

How tightly squeezed into your pack is the bladder – too tight and the the water will leak out from where the hose clips in – happened to me on two bladders gave up and switched back to my ancient bladder without the detachable hose
