There must be somewhere that serves (full english) breakfast before 10am on a Sunday around here. I'm in Littleborough but willing to travel for breakfast, so I could get as far as Hebden or North Manchester in the other direction.
Do you know of anywhere ?
p.s. It's going to be too late for today so I'm off to the shop but I find myself in this situation regularly.

Morrisons in Tod has got a cafe, but the store doesn't open till 10 on Sundays.
yes - it's the before 10 which makes it difficult. I hoped that the cafe mecca of Hebden might have something early (wonder when the station cafe opens?)

I think the Burger van at Riggs starts quite early. Whilst I'm often up early, I'm rarely out early.
However, I've got some bacon and eggs and beans in, and usually am up well before 7 most days. I've not thought of expanding to catering though.
I drove along the road between Hebden and Tod 20 mins ago and the food van at the side of the road was open then, HTH
off in 5...(still hoping somebody can tell me of a proper cafe for another weekend)
Viaduct Cafe, just past the bus station in Tod? (used to be the video shop).
Excellent caff, full (mostly grilled) breakfast, tea/coffee and toast/bread & butter, £3.20.
Highly recommended.
The other cheap alternative is Ken's Cabin Cafe, opposite the picture house in Hebden. I wouldn't if I were you - they deep fry the sausages (shudders)....

I don't know the area, but Wetherspoons pubs open at 9 on a sunday and offer a great allday brekkie. I can't handle a pint at 9 in the morning but the option is there if you so desire.
Morrisons it was (6/10)...the vans were open at Riggs and at the soccer pitch (by Bird in Hand ?). Sorry uplink - I was ideally looking for a cafe (roof, chairs...all the luxuries) - I was taking the 2year old with me so eating standing or in the car is best avoided.
Next time I'll check out the Viaduct cafe.
p.s. my daughter is loving Tod park for getting to grips with her bike. This week we tried pedals (with stabilisers) after not quite getting along with the balance bike. Sure it will come with time.

I'm guessing here that you've never seen a typical truckstop/lorry park? 
Believe me, it has a roof & tables & chairs, even hot showers & inside toilets with proper bog roll [probably a 1st for Heywood] 
Anyway, it's open from 6 & it's been quite a while since a trucker ate another customer so you shouldbe OK
Found the cafe in Lamberts mill in Rawtenstall this morning, open every day from 9:00 am. Opposite the new health centre . Ilex Mill off Bocholt way. First floor. £5 for a decent full English, will be going back.
If your really desperate in the wee small hours then theres a few mobile places dotted around Stakehill Ind Park that cater for the truckers. If you need to take the little one with you then you could always go to Birch Services (expensive but 24/7)
Got my lunch a few times from the Viaduct, its pretty good.
(managed to get a brew & a slice of cake in Tod at 4am this morning but that was in a nursing home!)

The place in Rawtenstall could be a winner - didn't know about the mill place so could offer to take the wife there and get a sneaky first visit to Ride-On too.
