Andrew while I don’t find it particularly odd that you experimented by microwaving a spoon I do think it’s pretty thick to then pick it up.
IIRC it’s metal edges that do silly things in microwaves so screw up some tinfoil and see what your super microwave does to that, let us know how you get on – don’t pick it up afterwards 😉

no, it is most definitely Heinz salad cream, anything else is just crap. as for beans, I prefer the taste of Branston: they are less watery, but now the smell that remains in the cupbord is putting me off them rather rapidly!
BTW, I don’t have hellmans mayo either. am I going to hell?
