Recently bought new set of Formula RX brakes online. The rear hose turns out to be well short so have contacted supplier. They have measured them and say the rear is 1400mm long and don’t have any longer in stock. Chain Reaction sell Formula RX hoses and their length is 2000mm. What am I supposed to believe here? Any advice from the STW massive? At the minute my bike is hanging up in my local LBS and going nowhere.

Can’t you just buy some new hose.

I could obviously at my cost but my LBS reckons they shouldn’t have sent a set out with such a short hose. I have e-mailed the supplier but I may just have to take the hit to get me out cycling.
