    Hi all,

    Simple as this, new SLX or old XT? New SLX are £170 for a set on Merlin, old XT’s £175. Heard a few things about the new cooling fins and pads rattling in the calipers in new types.

    Replacing 2008 Deore LX’s

    You’ll get new XT for the same kind of money from Rose bikes. £66 an end by the looks of it. 🙂

    Seems to be variable – I was billed £150 to my CC, the invoice said around £132.

    Still cheap though 🙂

    Rose Bikes are out of stock and will be for some time according to their website.

    I know guys who have ran the older XT’s with good reports, however the new SLX seem good too.
