    Apologies for the dullness of the topic…

    Anyone got any recommendations for life insurance for me and t’missus? Always got it through work before, but now I’m fending for myself I should get around to getting something to cover the mortgage.

    No special requirements to speak of… I’m 31, she’s 28. Both healthy. Both working. Got 34 years to go on our mortgage (!!!)

    the cheapest. they cant really contest it.

    however, if your talking about critical illness cover then that’s a different game altogether.

    Whatever deal you find check out how much two single policies are against a joint one.

    Me and the missus have two separate individual policies that were only a couple of quid extra a month compared to a joint one. First one to die covers the house. Second one gives my family money to look after my daughter and keep the house if required.
