Bluetooth keyboard for an iPad recommendations please

I know there are a few iPad users on here. Does anyone use a bluetooth keyboard with it?

The father-in-law sometimes uses his iPad 2 to write long presentations, letters and documents so we thought he might like a keyboard to make it a bit easier.

We thought something like this one:

I use the Kensington one which I bought from Schipol airport when I had a few hours to kill. The bluetooth function really drains battery life but it works fine otherwise.
Secondly I can't help but look at the final size of it and think I should've just bought a netbook which would be smaller and do alot more.
That one below in your pics looks reasonable compact.

Yeah I know, but to be honest I'm quite glad he has an iPad because at least now I don't have to spend every single visit removing adware/malware, doing updates and uninstalling all the pointless crap he has put on it

I don't think the keyboard is something he'd use all the time. Just useful when he wants to compose something a bit longer.
