I know that for a 73mm Bottom Bracket I install one 2.5 spacer on the drive side, however I’m going to be using a Blsckspire Stinger chain guide that mounts on the BB.

Do I lose the spacer and just mount the stinger? Will the stinger essentially act as the 2.5 spacer or do I need both? Surely the stinger and the 2.5mm spacer will ruin the chain line?

as far as i understand it the stinger replaces the spacer or else as you say the chain line is out.

Ah brilliant I tried searching for that before but it wouldn’t open. Thank you both very much.

I put a Hope BB in yesterday. The notes said either one spacer or a chain device/BB mounted deraileur.

Have a look at these threads.
Had trouble with mine running Raceface cranks, After contacting Blackspire and Orange this was sorted by fitting new crush washers.
The chain line is very important on these devices.
Has now been on my 5 for a while and keeps it nice and quiet.
    Hope this helps !
