    I’m thinking of giving this a go. Anyone had success with it? Any pointers for good online guides? Cheers.

    Part freeze your meat when you are cutting it. It makes it much easier to get a nice even slice so it all dries evenly. I have a dehydrator so it is a bit easier for me to make it (jerky, not biltong). If you can get any game that makes fo lovely dried meat – especially venison.

    I haven’t made it in a while. but used to all the time.
    Get steak. Cut it into about 1/8in thick flanks and then merinade in whatever you wish for a couple days.

    Dry in the oven, kept mine open abit with a rock, as the door was close to the ground.
