I'm considering getting (another) one and need some ideas.
It wants to be a geared mountain bike, and for simplicity, let's stick to the £1k(ish) standard maximum.
Go crazy and show me what you've got....

This is mine:

Slightly indirect though, as I actually bought a Tricross but then found I was mountain biking more so wasn't using it - so swapped it for the Zion frame and a few bits.
This is what I'd actually purchased though:

I could get another bike on the scheme now but am struggling to find anything I like for under £1K, except for road bikes and I wouldn't use one of those enough to justify it.

Got this first time around and it's done sterling service as a commuter and tourer.

Went a bit racier for the second one.

why stick to the limit? just see it as £400 quid off a new bike/frame, i got an orange 5 frame and my wife got a rocky ridge. she uses it lots (ahem)

why stick to the limit?
The scheme we're in doesn't allow going over the £1k limit.

Most schemes won't go over £1k as your company would need a credit license. Most companies don't already have one so stick with the limit.

This is my Bike2Work purchase.
And this is what I ride to work on

Some shops allow you to add to the £1000 limit. For example my £1000 ride to work bike came with a £350 camelbak bottle.

When I had my own firm, bought my 5 spot as we did have a credit license
Charged the firm 2p a mile to ride it as well. Result.Just got this on the b2w scheme
Same as CX stem Waaay to long, otherwise amazing. Given that it's a road bike.

ah i didnt realise there were issues with adding to it, my friendly lbs has always sorted it for me and hinted that they probably shouldnt but i was too busy drooling over new bikes to pay attention.

some interesting things...
the company i work for also has a credit license so i could potentially get something very sparkly.
i'm just having a nose about for some ideas to tempt me - don't really have the space for a 6th bike but i'm sure it could be found..Posted 2 years ago # -

Here's mine, good for knocking about on, haven't got as far as work on it yet as have a touring bike for that
