bikers retreat is not a bad option, friendly bike nuts (mostly motorbike) who run it and has a bar and food there too. Also have a drying room for kit.

Rooms are a little tired but if you only want somewhere to sleep then it is pretty good.

any of the B&Bs – there’s loads in town. Most of a similar standard.

Wouldn’t bother with Rangers yet. I walked down it a week ago and it’s still blocked by bags in loads of places.

We stayed at the glen arbour bunkhouse last year and it’s filthy. Ivy coming in through the window and the shower was a shared shower of 3 with missing celing tilings and a general feeling of scummyness. There was also no soap put out for 3 days so how do you wash your hands after a poo in the middle of the night? soap costs 50p in wilkos, come on. We complained nicely at the end of the stay and the manager halfed our bill, so if you stay there do that. 😀

No breaky, but the eagles pub/guest house in Penmachno is great and cheap. Breaky down the road towards Betws y coed is very good.

Stayed at the best western with 8 mates last autumn was fantastic we stayed for 2 nights in the chalets to rear 3 per chalet all self contained with bike lockup and patios to rear to chill at. Worked out at £45 each for the 2 nights included use of the fitness suite, pool and spa.
Breakfast was included for both mornings, an awesome and very comfortable place to stay. Would definately recommend it and would return there.
