How tall are you? I was looking a bikes a bit ago, and I think if I was buying a Genesis I'd go for the 60cm frame, and Im only 6'2"

Decathlon do a full carbon, 105 equiped bike for about £1k and do it in some big sizes. Ribble is the other place to look, depending on finishing kit I think you could get under £850 without too much difficulty.

POtentially a big mistake to buy the "cheapest 105 equipped bike" IMO

I bought a Canyon Roadlite for £870 (and then £50 shipping) which is ultegra front and rear mechs and 105 everything else.
Great bike and i'm very happy with it.
Mine is a 66cm frame (XXXL?) but they have all sizes. Canyon were great to deal with and i'd happily buy from them again.
What height are you? I used to have a 63cm Trek which was ok but maybe a tad small. If you are 6'4"+ the a 60/61cm may be too small for you?
