    If you are after a alu frame and have £1K to spend, the CAAD10 is probably your best bet. Cervelo stopped making the S1 in 2010 and although its a great frame, Cannondale continue to develop the CAAD frames. Have a look at Canyon too, their alu frames get great reviews.
