I want to go 1×10, and could do with some recommendations.

I’m currently running SLX 3×10, so I need a chainring that will fit an SLX triple, as well as a chain device of some sort. I have a normal BB, no ISCG tabs, but do have a seatpost (obviously). Not looking to spend unnecessary money, but want something that works well. So what chainrings/chain devices are good, and not too pricey?

If its not too worn, the middle chainring you have will work just fine. You’ll need some short chainring bolts, (the ones you have will bottom out before they tighten up). The Superstarcomponents XCR device works perfectly. The seatpost one is a bit hit & miss.
You’ll need to drop a few links out the chain also, wrap it around the biggest rear cog & add a link should do it.
