2 days into a business trip and I’ve not had a decent cuppa since home. Just who on this earth deemed it acceptable to put uht milk in my tea?
The letters uht should not legally be allowed to be put next to the word milk. Its a vile abomination on this earth.
There must be some real milk somewhere in Birmingham.

Wherebouts in B’ham ? If your near the Fort I could get the Wife to drop some in.

And yes. UHT is the seed of the devil. Foul stuff. Should be banned.

to be fair I had some ‘decent’ (?) UHT milk when fresh wasn’t an option (tent/summer heat), and in tea and on cereal it wasn’t actually that bad. 😯

While I am wallowing in self pity. At breakfast the bottle says Heinz the contents definitely not.

I recently discovered that uht doesn’t last that long after all. I found this out after finding a ‘glob’ of milk in the bottom of my tea.

Tea seems to be something that’s only ever right when brewed at home.

UHT milk makes no difference to tea compared to normal milk.

Man up and get it down yer neck 😉

I feel sorry for you zippy. Not that sorry though – Brum must be rougher than I remember. I currently live in Detroit and am making a cup of PG tips with proper milk. Yesterday after a muddy singletrack ride I had some leftover shepherd’s pie with some HP sauce and Haywards pickles. These little remnants of civilization keep me sane.

    It’s not that I agree, it’s that I don’t care.

Sitting in Luxembourg with a mug of Yorkshire tea before heading out for work (coffee is for the office). Proper milk too.

If it didn’t say UHT and you don’t like it, how would you be warned? Feel free to ignore my opinions on tea by the way, I like milk in my Earl Grey almost all the time and often don’t use a teapot!

Skimmed UHT all the way. Can’t stand the excess fat of cows boobie juice in udder milks.
