Actually I dislike that phase but I have noticed alot of you chaps and chapess’s (sp?) out there seem to be bucking the age old trend of being with someone 2.5 years younger/older.

my missus is 4 years younger than me, as long as you don’t break the 10 year rule it doesn’t seem to matter.

Yes bug-chief-96 stay away from older girls until your aleast 15.

although if you can get a 25 year old when you’re 15 i would highly recommend it 🙂

I once went on a date with someone 14 years older than me with 3 kids. As my housemate pointed out, if the eldest had been a daughter then i may have been onto something 🙂

I say age doesn’t matter-to the people involved and if you meet someone special don’t let them get away (if the feeling is mutal).

But being a toyboy stereotype-can be fun but it depends on short and long term goals of the relationship and what you both want and need.

I look back at an older lady relationship I had and she was the best thing that happened to me-not because she was 12 yrs older than me but she was one hell of a woman (incredible looks and brains) who had a major impact on my life and values.

2 Yrs ago she died in an car accident after a few months of me leaving to progress with my career and I thought I would be back within a year to sweep her off her feet again as we talked on the phone all the time in separate countries.

Biggest regret of my life and I’ve been on a a few dates since but I could never feel that way again so I stay single until I’m ready.

The hell with age or colour or sex, if you meet someone special-stick together! :O)

chased after an elder lady years ago (without success, again…) who turned out to have had a daughter at an early age. Had an image flash through my mind for some reason that if :

1 – I married her
2 – my brother (9yrs my junior) married her daughter (similar age)
then
3 – I could be my own brothers father-in-law

At this point I decided against the whole venture and slopped off for a pint with the boys.

Had a GF who was a year older than me when I was 14, happy days 🙂
