As per title really. When you are running on road sections do they drag like Swampthings or are they better than that?

Are Trailrakers draggy?

You are not going to be bothering the local roadies.

Incredibly. They're a very 'upright' tread, very little on the shoulders, so they're downright terrifying on the road IMO.
Not ridden Swampthings but I've ridden Mud Xs and Dirty Dans, and they're worse than either of those.

Yes, they're draggy. But they're fairly hard compared to some mud tyres and I find them fairly well-behaved on tarmac myself.
They are considerably less draggy tham swamp donkey's.
If rolling resistance is a consideration, I hear bonty mud x's are good.

yes mud x`s all the way.....

I don't find them a problem on the road. Awesome on the trails though.

Mud X's are cheaper anyway - 1.8 or 2.0? Might go 1.8 on the back and 2.0 on the front

Ooh, wouldn't agree with that... Swampies get very draggy at high pressure because they turn into big cogs but at working pressures my st/maxxpro combo is IMO a lot less draggy on hard surfaces than my old trailrakers. Much better allround tyres IMO.

Mud tyres just are slow compared to summer tyres. Get used to it!
