I'm going to be staying between Oxford and Abingdon this week, wondering if there was anything good to ride nearby.

I know it's a bit flat around those parts but surely there's something worthwhile nearby?

There is a group that have met on this forum who ride on Tuesday nights in Oxford. I think this Tuesday they are doing their urban night ride. I shall e-mail them and get the to post on here if you fancy going along?

Chilterns. Although after the rain we've had it WILL be a mud fest

the ridgway around the uffington area (white horse etc) has a few good routes, not too far from Abingdon

we were in the Chilterns today and it wasn't too bad as there are a LOT of leaves which do some soaking up!
