At school we were taught that Samuel Greg was one of the good guys, but the plot synopsis in the paper paints him as a right ####.

Did Mr Hardman lie to me in 2nd year history?

The National Trust which now owns Quarry Bank mill still produce fabric on the looms, my wife buys this fabric and makes various products which are for sale in the Mill gift shop.

So you could say I got a interest in this programme,

It’s a very interesting place to vist, it’s in Styal Cheshire, very near Manchester airport.

Why does every scene look like a museum set? At the time all those mills were brand new!

I think it was ‘relative’ and the series will probably develop to show him as the working regulations pioneer.
