I’m wondering whether to buy 105 shifters and mechs for my road bike or keep running the di2 over the winter months?

My only real concern is the longevity of the mechs in the salt spray and to be honest, i cba stripping the bar tape and di2 wires from the bike!

I’ve run ultegra di2 on my winter/training bike for 15 months. It’s been fine, infact better than the cable equiv really as you don’t have to replace clagged up cables after a few months. I give it a wash and clean every time I remember but it’s certainly not wrapped in cotton wool. Prob done approx 10k miles now.

As above i would stick with it, ideal for winter with the lack of cables.
