I've been offered a Ridgeback 29er frame for free, which is always good! Does anyone know anything about these, geometry etc?? A bit of internet delving and I think it's the Advance model. The website says it uses 700c wheels. Now I thought that 700c were road wheels but that they were the same diameter as 29er wheels. Quite like the idea of building it as a 29er as I'm 6'3", but don't know too much about them. Thanks.

They're ok, they're the brand that Genesis were (kinda) born from.

Thanks, so a free frame when I was thinking of building up a 29er anyway is a pretty good result. Just need all the other bits now!

    Is it deffo a 29er, not a 700c hybrid?

You may struggle with tyre width if its for 700c
