My riding group is in the process of growing from 2 to 3. 3rd fella is a roadie and is interested in buying himself a frame and building it up from 2nd hand/bargin parts.

Anyone know of any deals at the minute on new frame? His was interested in a kinesis, but thats going off a recommendation from 2nd fella, who had one 6 years ago. Surely there must be something better out there now?

Brand-X xc hardtail. Brilliant frames for the money….Look nice too.

I’m sure that the Merlin Malt 2 was made by kinesis, good price at the mo. Also the Malt 3 which Merlin tell me is a bit more XC geometry and slightly lighter.

Both would suit.
