    Afternoon all

With the weather being its beautiful best, with spring so obviously in the air, Mrs Binners thoughts have turned to taking advantage of the season with a more appropriate form of transport. Possibly a canoe or possibly an ark.

Failing that, she fancies getting a bike. I’m after getting her something half decent so that it’ll encourage her a bit. Its going to be used for towpath bashing but it’d be rude not to venture in to more adventurous terrain. So an acceptable level of forks, brakes would be good. Upgrading is always on the agenda. Jesus! She could just use all the parts i disgard 🙂

She’s a bit small (but beautifully proportioned) so its going to have to be a small frame. Not necessarily women’s specific but a low standover

Anyone seen owt out there at the moment?

    Cheers

What budget are you looking at? There are still quite a few 2010/sale models kicking around if you scour the interweb e.g.

    – bout £100 cheaper than the equivalent 2011 model, v good reviews, v good standover (Leisure lakes have a 15″ – even better standover)

Now my 3 yesr old and 7 year old are on two wheels, my wife wanted a bike, again she tried the Myka and bought it. Really am pleasently surprised about the quality of it for the price. It’s only £10 dearer than the one linked to above.
