    Looking for something cheap as just trying it out and still have a fork to buy yet

    basic shimano hubs are fine and tbh centre lock rotors perfect as I have some spare ones (but also have some 6 bolt). Will have to be QR I guess as I might end up with a bog standard carbon rigid fork.

    XC rim that can be bodged tubless.

    I was sure I saw some deals the other week but can’t remember where.

    Superstar have Stan’s on offer, but £220 is probably not chap.

    nice but nope. I’d rather spend that money on replacing the 717s on my 456.

    SS Switch Evo with 29er rims are coming it at £159.99

    Or I have spotted some new Bontranger OEM wheels with bottom of the range Shimano M65 hubs for about £73 posted. 2.2kg so not horrendous.

    Any other suggestions?
