    Hello,

Has anyone ever fostered an cat/dog from the RSPCA or similar? I have an interview to become a cat fosterer & have no idea what they’ll ask (other than “do you like cats?” and “do you think you can look after a cat?”)

    Ta!

They will ask if you have a garden and if the cat can go outside safely. If the answer is no, there won’t be any more questions.

    Quite right I reckon.

My sister tried to re-home a dog through the RSPCA she got fed up of being messed about and told them to shove it and ended up re-homing a dog through a local charity.

the fosterers used by the dog rescue i support are all dog owners, with vast experience of the breed.

someone home all day, training experience, suitable/perfect home conditions etc etc

often used for the ones that dont respond well to kennels, or need specialist training or observation so as to better place them in a adoptive home
