Before I let the daughter take her shiny phone to school I’d like one of these on it. Which one?

Samsung Galaxy Mini, on Android v2.2.1
    Thanks.

ain’t there one that comes pre-installed. don’t have that particular phone, but I seem to remember activating the lost phone app thingy when I got the phone, so it’s on and active as far as I know. Not sure how it works though – I just thought I’d look in to that if I ever lost it.

Cerberus for me. As well as all the usual tracking, locking, wiping commands you can also record audio and get it to ring and take a photo of whoever is looking at the phone 🙂

Samsung has it’s own ‘find my phone’ thing:

Assuming it’s installed on her phone, you just need to go to the account settings and register a new samsung account.

    +1 for wheres my droid.
My daughter dropped hers in the field last year so we GPS’d my droid and found its position then just went and picked it up.

I have lookout on mine – not that I think the antivirus is so great or that it’s the best for lost phones, it was just the 1st I found on the market
