Got a new comute bike with an Alfine hub. On about the 3rd or 4th gear under pressure it seems to slip though and it grates a bit. Is this normal, should I send it back, and will it wreck the hub if it keeps doing it?

Your cable tension may have gone a wee touch. Try re-aligning the yellow marker in i think the 4th position... it might not be the 4th, best check the manual!
That might solve it.

Thanks for that. I was not sure how the gear set up worked so I will have a look and see if it has the correct tension. I would take it to the bike shop but got it from Wiggle mail order to Sweden.
