No, more problems and people seem to have been doing this for decades, and not yet got the hint…

I think you’ll find that Christini have been doing this for decades, and it looks like they have now got the hint and stopped production!

Saw one on the trail once. Fascinating engineering solution to a problem that doesn’t really exist.

I do remember it being a lovely piece of engineering though.

Perhaps Bionicon could buy the rights and make something truly weird and wonderful.

“All wheel drive”, can he not count up to two?!

Two is all of the wheels. So he is correct.

In their defence, MBR rated it really well in a review saying it worked well, but it was never really a problem that needed solving. Then labled it their worst bike of the decade a couple of years later! So they can be forgiven for being confused.

I don’t remember it beig anywhere near that expensive though.

It wasn’t (well, at least when they reviewed it about 10/15 years ago). Extra drag and weight seemed to be the two big minus points. Being almost entirely pointless being another.

A simple “all wheel drive” mountain bike would be a unicycle with a knobbly tyre.
