The only aftershave I have is from the 90’s. One day I will finish the bottle.

Aqua, or maybe cool water, I think that came in a blue bottle.

However, the only appropriate choice is either sex panther or London gentleman.

    Eau Sauvage?

From the 60s, but had a brief Renaissance in the 90s.

Always have a bottle on the go myself. Lovely stuff.

Kouros was popular round here too, I think it made people feel cosmopolitan. I wasn’t a Paco Rabanne wearer, not that it did me any good.

I had a girlfriend who bought me a bottle of “Harley Davidson” I got ripped to shreds by my mates “why does she want you to smell like a sweaty old biker for?”

When you find it and buy a bottle, prepare to be disappointed. A lot of old perfumes have had to be reformulated thanks to elf’n safety paranoia: the industry is losing interesting raw materials every week. Older perfumes from the 40s and 50s can’t even be manufactured any more as they are considered too dangerous. If you’re lucky enough to smell one in a lab it will blow your mind because your nose will never have encountered those materials.

don’t know how it turned up in my possession, but still have it and joop and a body shop one called arthis or something like that, a channel one in a little black bottle I think and quorum

EDIT^ Channel Antaeus, might be getting that mixed up with the Body shop one.

A young relative bought me some of this for Christmas:

It’s actually ok, but I still cringe when I see the bottle.

A lad at work came in a few weeks ago smelling of davidoff cool water. He was impressed that I could tell what it was. Not impressed when I told him my dad used to wear it when I was a kid, 20+ years ago, hence how I recognised it!

My Mrs has a posh book about the history of pong, recently published too.

They rate Cool Water as their favourite men’s fragrance.

Never tried it, is it any good?
