Is it a mud fest or does it drain quite well? Going there on Friday/Saturday but the weather report is shocking and for the next four days it's going to be hammering down. Should I be packing plenty of spare clobber?

You will get covered head to toe in grey, gritty paste, but once it dries you'll realise that it is basically gritty dust.

    Traction will be fine though.

It rides well in the wet but you'll probably go through a set of pads so take spares

Apart from 1 or 2 small sections it's as fast in the wet as dry but it will wear your pads and drive chain super fast.

Was going to ask about pad as my ones are on their last legs.

It rides fine in the wet, but Afan mud is one of the most destructive substances known to mankind.
