Does anyone know a good place to stay for the night near afan. needs to sleep about 6 hairy bikers and have a secure bike lock up.

What about the campsite at the trailhead?

Neath castle hotel ( dodgy place Neath) but has wherehouse where you can put the van with the bikes in) 😀
And £53 for the night

premier inn port talbot. £22 each per night including breakfast based on 2 sharing if you book early. Can keep clean bikes in the hotel room or get the key to the ‘boiler room’.

Luffy (Sadly now ex of the cafe) has a place up there as well, which is apparently very good. Not stayed there myself, but worth a look. Don’t have the link to hand.

Bryn Teg. Nice place with secure bike lock up. However parking in the village is an issue and casual damage to vehicles is not unknown!
