    on the map, there are loads of tracks, but it looks like a danger area.
    I am wanting to ride from alwinton/holystone area, to byrness/Rochester area…..offroad if possible.

    anyone done it, or know if it is ok the ride through the danger area’s

    Ive ridden up through Harbottle woods – out the top and to Cocklaw green and down lane to Rochester.Was a weekend and NO red flags -its all bridleway.

    if the flags are not flying, it is ok to ride then? i thought it was, just wanted to make sure.

    yes as far as know its Ok if no red flags – theres a notice on fence/gate at edge of forest explaining that , as far as I can remember
