  • A frame arrived in the post….but I didnt buy one.

The postman left a box for me. It contains a road frame. I checked with the two people I was expecting parcels from, neither had sent it.

Does the parcel force number/ bar code tell anything of where it was sent from?

All I seem to get is bills.

There must be a lot of disappointed ducks waiting by their letter boxes.

I lost some brown paper slips with a picture of the Queen on. Can you check in your wallet and see if you have any of them and then send them on to me. Ta.

PS – if its secondhand do a search on classifieds for the make/model to see if you can track the seller/sender

I think this counts as ‘reasonable steps’ to return it to its rightful recipient and means you can legally* keep it.

*this may not be true, I am not authorised to provide legal advice outside of Botswana.

    But specifically addressed to you?

    I guess it’s yours then.

Ah, the old Nigerian road frame fraud, again……!

Can you post up some more pics of your fabulous wood stores just to brighten everyone’s day up, please?

I think we need a picture of the frame with a herring/mackerel on it or this is all bluff 🙂

Its a used frame, if the shoe was on the other foot, I would appreciate someone trying to reunite the frame with its rightful new owner.

    It is light though….

We could narrow down who on here might have sent it by asking questions

Does it have any cutlery superglued to it? No – not cynic-al

Has it been ridden much? No – could be hora.

    etc

No sign of owt on the classifieds here.

I checked the parcelforce tracking number. It says it was collected from St Johns and its first stop was Worcester.

Is it stupidly large and made of drainpipes? If so, Stoner’s your man.

If it was collected then ParcelForce must have a return address – give them a ring?

Anyone dumb enough to post something of that value without a return address of any identifying marks deserves to lose it.

Having said that there are probably two people having a very heated conversation right now

    – I haven’t received my frame.
    – But I definately posted it, look here’s the receipt.
    – But I haven’t got it, I want a refund.
    – No, how do I know you haven’t received it and are just trying to scam me?
    – How do I know your not trying to scam me?

Thing is I’ve been away for two months, I’ve only bought a couple of things since my return at the begining of the week, I cant think who else may have had my address to hand.
