Looking for something that braces as far up the arm as possible, as I have a gap in my ulna a few centimetres up from the wrist itself. Anyone tried these below?

yep, wore one when riding for about 6 months after a bad broken wrist which needed surgery, offers decent support, feels restrictive with holding the bars to begin with but you get used to it and didn’t find it caused any hinderance riding… still wear it for dh courses but not xc stuff…

I used one for a bit after breaking my wrist. They work OK and are more comfortable to ride in than a manky NHS one, but also more flexible and shorter. If you want to wear gloves with it you’ll probably have to go a size up from your usual.

Good point about the gloves, thanks.

My girlfriend uses one after ruining her wrist crashing a couple of years ago.

Seems to work alright & gives her a bit more confidence in holding on when it gets rough. She only uses it for DH though.
