    Hi, Bit of advice needed.
    Going 2×9 with 42/29, 11-34 combo.
    Got an XT medium cage mech and have done the tooth guide calc which comes up a few teeth short.
    Question is: in real world useage will I get away with running this mech or should I play safe and get a long cage?

    You’ll be fine as long as you don’t use 29-11
