    having done the devon coast to coast in the summer with my partner we are looking to do a similar one next year, any recommendations?

    maybe not what you want, as easy in a day, anyway did this earlier with gf,

    (imho – Portreath ok – not the best seaside town, but Devoran side – last few miles – truly lovely) – you possibly could look at doing some of the other trails in the area – which connect to the tramway. We also did a made up loop from Devoran via Truro and back that was pleasant enough and they take bikes on the river Fal ferries which added a bit of interest as we crossed at Malpas – Trelissick
