I have given singlespeeding a go and it just isn't for me, but i like having the single ring upfront as it doesn't get all clogged up.
My question is, if i am having a 34t upfront and an 11-36 cassette at the back should i buy a medium or long cage rear mech?
Also any experience of SLX would be appreciated as i am coming off XT (9sp) and wondering if i should save my cash and go with SLX?
