What happens when you take a UCI Pro-Tour road team and ask some of its best riders to race one of the biggest gravel races in the world?
EF Education has set out its stall for this season – making it clear that it didn’t want to be like the other pro race teams and tick off all the usual road calendar events. It wanted to send its riders to the races that inspired them, regardless of discipline. The 200 mile Dirty Kanza is the first event that the pink and purple Rapha kit has been seen at, but if all goes to plan, expect to see riders take on Three Peaks Cyclocross before the end of the season.
For now, here’s a cracking video documenting how the team got on in the dust of Kansas.

Great film, very likeable guys.
The super endurance training has turned them into, like, stoners man.
Lol! Must be a Boulder, Colorado thing, Taylor Phinney sounds like that every time he’s on camera.
