Viner Super Prestige

Received: Viner Super Prestige Cyclocross Bike

by 10

We just took possession of the all-carbon fiber Super Prestige cyclocross rig from the Italian brand Viner, which is distributed by Planet X in the UK.  Actually…we took possession last week, and did manage to squeeze in a ride or two on it since then.
Viner Super Prestige
Named after the popular professional Belgian cyclocross series, the Super Prestige possesses a sexy and stealthy aesthetic, including wishbone seatstays, beefy downtube and a fork with acceptable clearance. The frame features internal cable routing, and the bike takes advantage of front and rear thru-axles.
Viner Super Prestige
The drivetrain is SRAM Force1, including hydraulic disc brakes, while WTB takes care of the tubeless wheelset.
The first few shakedown rides tell us the bike handles well, and is responsive when needed. Its first real test will be an semi-pro cyclocross race in Belgium this weekend.
Viner Super Prestige
Stay tuned for more details, including a full review in an upcoming issue of grit.cx.

Hi, lm looking to upgrade my current dirty disco and was wondering when are you expecting to complete the review of this bike. How did you find it compared to the dirty disco and giant tcx bikes which I’m also considering? Cheers Danny

Hi Danny! You can expect the review to go live in about a month. The full review should get you all the details you want to know. I’d list them here, but that would ruin the surprise. 🙂

Hi there. Did this review ever get published? Thanks

Are you able to give us any clues please? If I don’t order one early this week it won’t arrive in time for my first race and I’ll need to look at an alternative. Cheers.
