8Bar is a new, small bike company based in Berlin. They offer a couple of different drop-bar bikes of the singlespeed variety. The company, and the people behind it, also seem to really understand the spirit of adventure and exploration.
To gain some visibility for the young brand, and as an excuse to do something really cool, Stefan and Max, two 8Bar team riders, set off to ride from Berlin to Prague. The goal was to complete the ride in three days, without the use of a GPS or maps. Armed with just a compass, they set out on their adventure atop their singlespeed ‘cross bikes and backpacks. Their improvised route saw them cover a variety of terrain, meet interesting people, and immerse themselves in some fun exploration.
