This weeks instalment of CABCP includes pictures from the Milton Keynes World Cup, as well as from the B Post trophy round the following day at Hamme
UCI World Cup Cyclo Cross Milton Keynes
The grit.cx free beer offer was understandably popular
Just like all other British riders, Ian Field was almost pushed ahead during the race by the incredible cheering. After the race, he was invited to the podium, as the current British Champion and it took him almost a minute to find the words to talk. It was a profoundly poignant moment for him and for us, spectators, too.
Eventual third place finisher Nikki Harris has plenty of fans in attendance too
Francis Mourey is not getting any younger. However, he is one of those older riders, who get better and better when the going gets tough. He is getting into better and better form, just in time for the soon-to-be-here, fiendishly hard Christmas week.
B-Post Trophy Hamme
Say hello to Music Man. A motley crew of musicians were playing on instruments painted green on a open, green van. Music man was the main instigator and conductor. The quirks of a Belgian cyclocross race.
Not a great day for Sven Nys, who missed the podium but he still leads the overall Bpost Trofee ranking by almost two minutes.
They young Wout Van Aert showed today that he can win on flat and fast courses.
Don’t forget you can get more images just like these in the Cyclocross Album by visiting the Cyclephotos website and get a round up of last year’s season in the great coffee table book from the 13/14 season.
